Who are we

Art For Fun is a community art group in the Newham area that meets weekly.  We aim to provide a safe supportive and social meeting space for the vulnerable in Beckton, thus addressing issues around health and loneliness as well as skills through the practice and development of art and crafts skills.

Meeting times and places

 We meet at St Marks Church and Community Centre, Tollgate Road, Beckton.  We meet every Thursday from 10.30am to 12.30pm.  There is a minimum weekly fee of £2.00.

What do we do

We are very diverse ethnically and educationally and open to both adults and children, reaching out to the lonely, the vulnerable, the socially deprived, the marginalised, the homeless.

We also work closely with Perfect Community Care which organises art experiences for adults with severe physical or learning difficulties.

The supportive environment of the groups provides opportunities for everyone to develop as artists or craft makers.  The groups are nurturing and provide opportunities for socializing, for friendship, and above all for support.

Welcome to Perfect Community Care Service

At Perfect Community Care – PCC – we provide unique and quality community care with support to adults with disabilities and to vulnerable adults. We are delighted and committed to helping people get the most out of life.

Our Service coordinates and facilitates group activities. On Thursday mornings we enjoy joining the more independent members of Art For Fun for a range of art and craft activities.
